The Regulated Procurement Academy is designed to improve delegates understanding of the Procurement Objective which is the heart and purpose of the new Regime of rules within the Procurement Act 2023 and the supporting Procurement Regulations 2024. The Academy examines the sector specific differences and how they translate into practical application. The Academy is designed to provide delegates with all the information and knowledge to warrant compliancy throughout the Procurement cycle from identification of need to award and contract management.
Who should attend?
The training is designed to provide procurement practitioners with a level of knowledge that ensures full understanding of the complexities of regulated procurement legislation. This training is appropriate for Procurement practitioners who are at the beginning of their career or those more experienced who would like to review their knowledge and understanding of the new Regime of rules.
Agenda
The Regulated Procurement Academy modules incorporate 6 full days, with open courses spread over a number of weeks. Bespoke in-house courses timetabled to suit an organisations own requirements are also available upon enquiry. Each Academy will be delivered by one of our experienced trainers, all with a wealth of knowledge in regulated procurement legislation and practitioner knowledge. Our team consists of CIPS qualified practitioners and Master degree graduates in Procurement and Procurement Law.
Our courses are delivered as interactive classroom-based sessions with case studies, scenarios and examples of relevant case law or virtually via Micro Soft Teams. They are all supported by the Achilles procurement toolkit THEMiS, a web-based regulated procurement encyclopaedia, providing guidance, case law, consolidated legislation and the function to ask specific regulated related procurement questions which will be accessible for the duration of the Academy.

- Module 3 – Understanding Most Advantageous Tender (MAT), selection and award criteria
- Module 4 – Framework agreements and dynamic markets
- Module 5 – Tender evaluation and remedies
- Module 6 – The Procurement Game
