Achilles has been appointed by KeolisAmey Docklands (KAD), which operates and maintains the Docklands Light Railway network in London, to deliver supply chain risk and performance management across KAD’s extensive supply chain.
Joining Achilles enables KAD to have access to a wider pool of global suppliers, together with data and insights from these suppliers across a wide range of categories. Specifically, categories of ESG data, such as finance, carbon emissions and labour practices, will enable KAD to ensure their supply chain is both effective and ethical, supporting the company’s core values.
In addition, through the MyAchilles platform, the team at KAD has extensive flexibility regarding adding in bespoke questions to their solution: this will enable them to ensure suppliers are compliant with the FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme).
Katie Ferrier, Regional Director UK, Ireland & US at Achilles commented:
“I am delighted that KeolisAmey Docklands has joined Achilles. The Railway industry is increasingly aware that supplier prequalification is no longer just health and safety, but an opportunity to ensure compliance across a range of metrics that enable us to truly build back better, whether through carbon reduction or better labour practices.
“The team at KAD has embraced the flexibility and insight that the MyAchilles platform provides: KAD’s reputation of embracing innovation and taking a collaborative, partnership approach is well aligned to Achilles values, and I really look forward to working with the team.”
