Palladium Hotel Group, the renowned Spanish hotel chain founded in Ibiza in the late 1960s, has formalized a strategic alliance with Achilles with the aim of certifying its strategic suppliers and ensuring compliance with the group’s rigorous standards. This collaboration will allow Palladium to evaluate and optimize the performance of its supply chain, in response to growing demands for value chain management. This alliance is part of the “Palladium 5-Star Supplier” program, focused on digitalization and decarbonization, working collaboratively with suppliers, and creating an ecosystem with partners, companies in the sector, and other agents to generate a positive impact, aligned with the group’s CSR initiative “Palladium Cares.”
With a presence in seven countries and eight internationally renowned brands (e.g., Gran Palladium, Palladium, Only You, Bless, TRS, Ushuaïa Unexpected Hotels, Hard Rock H.), it currently operates a network of more than 40 hotels and over 14,000 employees. Each of its brands is distinguished by offering unique and personalized luxury and ultra-luxury experiences aimed at meeting the most demanding customer expectations.
Palladium Hotel Group’s mission is to “turn customers into fans,” placing them at the center of its business strategy while maintaining deep respect for people, local communities, and the environment. The strategic alliance with Achilles strengthens these core values and helps ensure an excellent experience, always in line with environmental, social, and governance sustainability principles.
Achilles, recognized globally for its expertise in supply chain risk management, ESG supplier assessment, and audit services, will work closely with Palladium to implement proactive and transparent supplier management. Those participating in this program will receive independent validation and privileged access to the extensive network of the Repro Achilles community, thus enriching Palladium Hotel Group’s supply chain in a more sustainable, secure, and efficient way.
“We are excited to implement this rigorous evaluation of our supply chain, ensuring that our suppliers meet the exceptional standards our customers expect, allowing us to offer exclusive and personalized luxury experiences across all our brands. This project falls under the umbrella of the CLAS (Agile and Sustainable Purchasing and Logistics) project, which we are undertaking to evolve the purchasing function within the organization. This collaboration reinforces our dedication and commitment to managing our suppliers/partners in line with the requirements of standard 20400, where we are pioneers in the sector,” commented Josetxo Pérez, Corporate Director of Purchasing and Logistics at Palladium.
Eva Lezcano, Regional Director for Southern Europe at Achilles, expressed her enthusiasm for the start of this strategic collaboration with Palladium. “This alliance underscores our shared commitment to exceptional supplier management standards, further strengthening the quality and excellence that define each of Palladium’s brands.“
