Achilles aims to build a stronger connection with the global shipping industry as it works to drive down emissions and achieve International Maritime Organisation’s greenhouse gas emissions targets.
ABINGDON, UK., 20 July 2023 Achilles Information Ltd, a world-leading Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) risk and carbon management solution, today announced the appointment of a new brand ambassador, Peter Schellenberger, to connect and share details of the Achilles sustainability and carbon reduction solutions with the shipping industry.
Peter’s extensive experience working at the most senior level for some of the world’s leading shipping companies make him an ideal spokesperson for the Achilles brand. During his career, he has held senior supply chain and procurement management positions at Thome, OSM, V Ships and headed up MARCAS Asia, the shipping purchasing consortium. Peter will work with Achilles through his maritime services and consultancy company, Novamaxis Pte Ltd.
Peter shared his thoughts on being a part of the Achilles Ambassador team, “I am looking forward to working with the Achilles team as shipping looks for effective and efficient ways to deliver MEPC80’s IMO’s Greenhouse Gas Strategy and its wider ESG goals.
