Abingdon, UK – 28 April 2025 – Achilles, a global leader in supply chain risk and performance management, today announced two key appointments to its leadership team: Pia Heidenmark Cook as Board Advisor, and Eric Soubeiran as Non-Executive Director.
Pia Heidenmark Cook brings extensive experience in global sustainability leadership and board roles. As the former Chief Sustainability Officer at Ingka Group (IKEA), Pia was instrumental in integrating the People & Planet Positive strategy across 30 markets and decoupling carbon emissions from financial growth. In her advisory capacity, she currently holds positions with organizations in healthcare, impact private equity and professional services, including Bupa, Eurazeo’s Planetary Boundaries Impact Fund and Teneo. Recognized as a leading voice in sustainability, Pia is also a published author and an expert speaker, advising businesses on navigating the balance between corporate responsibility and growth.
Eric Soubeiran, CEO of Livelihoods Venture, a Paris-based social business that designs, implements, and monitors large-scale nature-based solutions projects, joins the Board as a Non-Executive Director. With extensive leadership experience at Danone and Unilever, Eric has led initiatives in climate action, regenerative agriculture, and human rights, embedding sustainability into global sourcing and strategy. He also serves on the board of The Carbon Trust and holds a PhD in Management Sciences. A recognized leader in sustainable business transformation, Eric is committed to aligning business performance with long-term environmental and societal value.
